We need a basic application that will assist us in deciding how to layout parts on a standard size panel so that we cut cut different size parts out of the panel with minimum wastage.

For example:

The standard panel is 430mm x 270mm

We require the following parts:

Part 1 - 50mm x 50mm - 10 pieces required

Part 2 - 50mm x 75mm - 5 pieces required

Part 3 - 25mm x 25mm - 10 pieces required

etc.

The application should allow us to:

1) Select from a list of standard panel sizes

2) Enter a list of parts required (size and quantity)

3) Display a diagram showing the best fit of all the required parts positioned on the panel with minimum wasted space.

4) If there are a large number of parts, they should be spread across multiple panels.

5) If spread across multiple panels, we require the option to specify identical panels must be used.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
