We have a calendar that is published on our church website where people can view dates of upcoming events. Some of these have additional information available. All of this is performed BY HAND which is a royal pain. i would like to have a page where events could be added to a database and the display to the public would easily show all dates based on where they land on the calendar. Currently there are 12 pages (one per month) all fields are modified by hand (dreamweaver). Any additional information for an event ends up being a new page. Please see the following example page: <[login to view URL]> (yes i know calendar is spelled incorrectly in the hyperlink)
if you look at the event occurring on August 23rd you will see that there are details available. I would prefer to show a hover-window when hovering over the text itself. This hover-window shows data about event. It would be great to have two options available in the hover-window: PRINT or ADD to my Outlook calendar.
Current web server is Windows-based. up to 4 MySQL databases are fully available for this development. All pages are currently .ASP, though there is nothing active at this time. They might as well be .htm.
