Configurable e-commerce web site.
This job consists in building a better version (version 2) of the web site [[login to view URL]][1] (version 1 ). Therefore all data currently published in version 1, will have to be imported into version 2.
The attached specification "spec [login to view URL]" is divided in different chapters.
Chapter 1 describes the pages that will be accessible to all visitors and to retailers.
Chapter 2 describes all those pages whose access is restricted to the administrator only, and that are used to configure the visitors pages content.
Chapter 3 is not used,
Chapter 4 describes the data structures and link, as well as the migration of data from rev 1 to rev 2.
The main table in the database defined in chapter 4 is the table of products. Products belong to one and only suppliers and to one and only category. There can be more than one model for each products. Other structures are the table of labels, mostly used as a dictionary for the 4 languages; the table of downloads; and the table of retailers to manage visitors accounts.
The implementation will be done in folder /var/www/html/test1/ and it should proceed in 3 steps, so that testing can start while developing.
The first part should include implementation of sections 1.1.1 Header,1.1.2 Body, 1.2 Products, 1.3 Suppliers, 1.4 Languages,1.7 Login page and relevant configuration pages and data structures. Section "2.7 labels" will be implemented during part 1, and all labels contained in file "[login to view URL]" are entered using page "2.7labels".
The second part should include 2.4 Models, 1.5 Services, 1.6 Downloads, 1.8 Chart , 1.9 Deals page and remaining data structure and configuration pages.
The third part will be the importation of all contents of the rev 1 into the rev 2
When the third part is completed than the web site will be moved to the folder /var/www/html/ to replace rev 1, and rev 1 will be put in folder /var/www/html/test2.
