Pocket PC project

Conversion of a simple access program to a Pocket PC application to track sales bids. The current database has 1 table with n<20 fields, 2 forms, 3 queries and 1 report. The application will require the pocket PC to replicate with a central data store with data being handled as last in wins. The database type is "programmers choice" and can be any pocket PC compatable database system that delivers identical information to the current access database as long as buyer can maintain final rights to whatever application is designed. More information can be provided as necessary ------------------------------------- Additional Information based on questions: Active Sync can be used for the backend and it does not need to sync with Access. The actual database can be moved to SQL or any other solution. Use your experience to tell me what will offer the best solution. In addition I will post a blinded version of the current access application at some point today for review and finalization of bids. This should give you a more exact idea of the functionaility necessary. Some features may have been affected during conversion but this will give a solid understanding of the minimal functionality necessary. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete documented source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on both platforms specified in this bid request. b) A brief user manual covering use of the software in its new form. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform HP Compatable POCKET PC (Client) Windows 2000 (SQL 2000 ODBC etc available) or network data store (Data Repository)
