I need a custom login script in PHP for my WORDPRESS blog that will use an external API (XML) for authentication. The login script will create a new record in Wordpress MySQL database at first login.
After a user has logged in, I need a custom plugin to be coded in PHP that checks user credentials against the external API to grant access to specific pages.
