College Website

Hello, I am looking for someone to develope our college website. We currently have a very old website almost completely made out of HTML and FrontPage. I've been recently hired as a web developer technician and my duties are to either develop something new or to evaluate CMS's that can help get ahead. The last person left me with an evaluation copy of "Ektron". I like it very much exept that it is writen in asp.net. I am looking for something written in PHP and MySql and that can be installed on IIS. The feature that I like the most about Ektron is the ability to add items to the navigation bar. Other than that, it acts like regular CMS. It has features like WorkFlow, Active Directory implementation and other features that are not important for us at this point. The basic functionalities would be as follow. 1. I can manage a navigation menu very easy (like Ektron) 2. I can add users to the CMS 3. I can restric users to particular folders/directories 4. I can create pages myself 5. I users can create pages (But NOT modify the look or theme of the website. 6. I can change the colors of the website with a single click. 7. (very important) The CMS will allow me to use HTML or PHP within the WYSYWYG editor. Let me explain # 7: Let's say that I want to make code of my own using just a plain text editor. I would like to be able to go into the WYSYWYG editor and change from "edit view" to "code view" and add <? require_once('[login to view URL]'); ?> and have the content of [login to view URL] published as if it was part of the CMS. I require that a demo version of the software be installed on a server running IIS mysql and php. I want to be able to log in as administrator and as user. Once I pick a few good websites we will get intouch (within the limits of [login to view URL]) to discuss further things and to come to a deal I am looking forward to looking at your software and choosing the best one. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form (a web installer) as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Platform: Windows 2003 server IIS MySql PHP
