Different options of set of check boxes

I am looking to implement following use case.
Under various categories (e.g. set-1, set-2, set-3..) there are different options available to user, option-1, option-2 …. etc. Categories to be implemented as accordions and options to be implemented as check boxes.
SET-1 (to be implemented as accordion)
Option-1 (check box)
Option-2 (Check-box)
Option-3
SET-2
Option-5 (check box)
Option-6
Option-7
After user finished checking the options, all options to be scanned and those selected (check boxes) by the user should be included in the cart
How I may implement this use case? If fresh module needs to be written, may somebody give me head start please.
I would be happy and thankfull even if the solution is provided without accordion feature! Instead of accordion we can use menu for SET-1, SET-2...
