I am looking for a long term relationship with a talented coder, who knows Visual C++ 6.0. I have a Visual C++ 6.0 program, which logs user activity in a text file. The information that is saved is the start time when the window got focus, the end time, the duration and the title of this window. For more details, please check the attached file. However, the logging in the CSV file still does not work correctly. I will give an example: 1. User starts the program and it detects "Notepad" is the active window. Notepad is active for 5 seconds for example. at this point nothing is stored. 2. The user goes IDLE for more than 2 minutes (does not move the mouse or touch the keyboard)=> Still nothing should be stored in the CSV file. 3. The user moves the mouse and the program detects that "Notepad" is the active window again. An entry is saved in the CSV with information about the IDLE time. The user works with Notepad for 10 more seconds. ---------------So far so good------------------- 4. The user becomes IDLE once again. The program needs to add to the previous 5 seconds the new 10 seconds. The information about Notepad should only be stored when the active window is actually changed, it should not be stored when the user goes IDLE. Please, free to contact me in case of questions. Have a nice weekend
