Automatic Content Editor to Remove Special Characters from a File

We need a tool that can scan a list of over 10,000 words, each word is on its own line, when the script finds a word that contains a special character it must remove that word from the list.
Example:
If the special character was #
Word one
Word two
Word #3
Word four
It would scan the above and output
Word one
Word two
Word four
It removes the word #3 as that word/lien contain the character.
Now we have about 20 characters, we also have some rules like if the word is longer then 80 characters or if it contains more then 10 words on one line.
This needs to be able to handle 10,000 lines at a time and prefer it to be fast enough to run several reports an hour.
