We are currently using the IHTK toolkit from [[login to view URL]][1] on our old 2000 server with CF 4.5. We have upgraded to a new server with CFMX and 2003 which uses xml and vb for the IIS functions. Therefore we need a Cold Fusion script which will submit the web site configuration data from a web page to IIS 6.0 and start the web service for the new web site.
The current CF code I use with CFX_IIS is as follows we would need to use the same parameters for the new script.
the parameter for newdomain is dynamically set.
<CFX_IIS
ACTION="ADDWEBSERVER"
DESCRIPTION="[www.#newdomain][2]#"
PATH="C:\inetpub\WWW\www.#newdomain#"
BINDINGS=":80:www.#newdomain#;:80:#newdomain#"
MAXCONNECTIONS=""
CONNECTIONSTIMEOUT=""
ENABLEDEFAULTDOC="1"
DEFAULTDOC="[login to view URL],[login to view URL],[login to view URL]"
ACCESSREAD="1"
ACCESSWRITE="0"
ACCESSEXECUTE="1"
ACCESSSCRIPT="1"
DIRECTORYBROWSINGALLOWED="0"
ApplicationName="Default Application"
ApplicationProtection="Low"

<CFX_IIS ACTION="WEBSERVERS">
<CFX_IIS ACTION="START" SERVER="#IIS.RecordCount#" SERVICETYPE="Web">
I have found a resource for the code written in c## that may be helpful I am not sure but here is where it is [login to view URL]
If necessary we can create a CFM page that sends data to a aspx page to complete this task.
