ASP - MSSQL Statistic application

We are finishing up an ASP application that uses ASP VB Script and MS SQL 2000 server database. We need help finishing and developing a few pages that have some simple statistics and some reports. ## Deliverables We are developing an application that we need have a coder help with a statstics portion of the application. There are two portions of this a User side and an Admin side. To give you an overview of the entire application it encorrages users to use alternative modes of transportation instead of cars. Users create an account and enter activites loging in the activity date the option of travel how many miles a a few other bits of information. They enter this as part of a local contest. There are several contests throughout the spring and summer. The contests are simply identified in a seperat table identifying a name, description a start and end date. This portion of the website application is already done. What we need is help finishing the default page on the users side that computes 1. Most miles biked 2. Most miles by bus 3. Most miles carpooling 4. Most miles walked 5. Total of all modes used We need this to compute 3 columns for each of the activity options for current high record, the user's current miles and what # rank they are in relation to the other users. Then it needs to compute the group total of all users for the current contest. See attached ZIP file to see the layout and what has been done so far. It is important to note HOW the statistics need to be computed. Based on the tables we are using ( Coder will get copies of the database tables) The current high records are omitting any user that the user table says Employee = Yes and PrevWinner = Yes and that is is qurried between the current active contest dates. You will also see a placeholder for two charts please disregard them as we will be adding them later The second part of this The Admin side. We have 3 areas already designed and labled. The Winning coder will have access to these areas to finsh development however we only need help with the REPORT portion as follows below REPORTS: Winners By Mode * Admin to select a Contest (pre defined date range) and will display the category (Bike, walk, carpool etc.. and it will display the number of miles for all users of each mode in order from most miles to least and the contestant's name, address phone and email Winners Combined Mode * Admin to select a Contest (pre defined date range) and will display total number of miles for all modes for the top user of all modes combined with the contestant's name, address phone and email Grand Prize Drawing * Admin to select a group of consecutive Contests (pre defined date range or just a date range) and display total number (SUM) of trips (activities) This is Trips Not total miles basically each activity where the miles traveled is OVER 1 mile. For every 4 Trips that are equal to or more than 1 mile they get ONE chance to win the grand prize. So if one person took 16 trips they get 4 chances to win the grand prize. This will be a list of every user who meets this criteria listing their user id , Name, Address Phone total # of trips and total number of drawing entries. Then there is a button that will randomly select based on the number of entries of all the contestants so contestants with more entries have more chances to win.
