I sell modifications to an ecommerce template.
This consists of my customers downloading a zip file with new and modified files to install on their site.
I would like to create a system wherby this could be all done on line.
The way I see the process working is I offer a free tool. I have already developed the tool at <[login to view URL]> login with mystore/changeme
It is an email program - part of program - the part I need building is the HCS Mods page - currently doesn't exist.
This page is to list links of all my programs that are available - when clicked it will check purchase information on my server - if thay have purchased the modification it will download and install it on their server.
I would like to backup the files my mod will replace - so they can easily uninstall the mod if it doesn't work.
Problems to overcome will include - some files must be created from a template on the customers server - somehow we need to be able to copy a file - rename it and replace an include file with a new one.
I am open to suggestions on how to accomplish this.
Regards
Gary
