I need an ASP (I’m not using asp.net) program that will read an xml feed and store the information in a MySql DB. The feed comes with an XML Schema file. There are archives feeds that you’ll need to read and use to populate the database. Then, on an ongoing basis, the program will need to check the daily feed and add it to the database. If the data already exists in the database, then the old data should be updated. This program will be used to provide content for my website, so it will need to be extremely fast. You'll create an asp page that will draw upon the database (dynamic pages). I would also like the ability to create static pages as I may decide not to rely upon dynamic content, etc. Perhaps anything after one week old will be static, etc. I was going to code this myself, but I am pressed for time and need a detail oriented programmer that documents their work well. Please provide a sample of your work if possible, it could make the difference! Please read the description carefully and include the word “snowbird?? somewhere in your response so that I know you read this, rather than just firing off a response. I get a ton of automated responses and this really helps weed them out. You’ll find I’m an excellent buyer and reward excellent work, take a look at my bonus history :) Good luck.
