I've seen a project like this so I'm not sure if it's the same person posting the project. If it is, my apologies for repeating myself. We have experience in developing apps that sit on top of PJSIP, may it be desktop based or in Web RTC format. PJSIP has been around for quite some time and it is by far the best open source voip stack out there. Security is in-built (TLS and SRTP has been supported for a while) and the media stack is also inbuilt, making it not just a SIP signalling stack but also a full blown SIP client with audio. Completely understand if you don't like the PJSUA command line interface. We can stick a GUI on top of the PJSIP library that's cross-platform with a decent screen that shows ongoing calls, calls on hold, calls being made or terminated etc. Are you planning to use it with Asterisk? OpenSER? Broadsoft? Or doesn't really matter.
