Tweak performance a [login to view URL] prototype

We need a minor performance tweak done to a [url removed, login to view] sample/prototype.
We've already developed the prototype with a few moving parts, it's recording a video while scrolling some text.
The issue is that on slower devices the scroll is jumping.
This should be a easy fix for experienced Android developers who have experience on the Android native API's.
The goal would be to make the scroll smooth while still having the video recording.
FYI, we're only going to offer around $50-70 it should be a easy fix for someone experienced.
I've attached the project, you can take a look at see if you can solve. The goal would be to make the scrolling smooth on slower devices while the video is recording and video is still playing in the background.
