Basic Application to Capture iPhone Specs

We are looking for someone who can an application using the language of your choice on a PC or Mac that would allow us to plug in an iPhone into the computer and have the application capture as much data about the device as possible including the Serial Number, Make, Model, IMEI and ALL other available information. There are programs out there that do something like this but we want to create our own to be used internally. Apple's GSX (Global Service Exchange) provides this tool so it's just a matter of figuring out how to use it and tap into it. We are not experts on how GSX works and we are not members of it so I don't know if you know more about that. Either way, regardless of what you use, we're looking for a program that will allow us to connect to an iPhone plugged into the system and do a full analysis of it and then store the data into a MySQL database and also display it on the screen in a user-friendly way. This application is not something we are going to sell so it's just for us to use in a small cell phone testing and refurbishing office that tests various phones. We would like to build the same thing for Android devices as well so if you think you can do both at once, please let us know. Otherwise, clarify in your bid if you can do it for the iOS or Android if you can only do one of them.
