Currently we are working on event map application for our US client if you could provide me your device UDID along provesioning profile and distrubution certificate for your device i can send you its .ipa which you can install on your device and check. this application is very much similar to your app infect in this application we have used advance features for geo location and google map API to find nearby events in particular area.
