Write an Android application

Deliverables: * Android mobile application: Phonegap * A server to send and receives information from the app: LAMP * Help setting up dev environment When the app starts, it checks if it has been setup before If not, it will * check if there is an internet connection. if not: die gracefully * ask user for server name and login/pwd * try to login; if wrong ask user again * download: 1. json files and store as local sql tables; contains settings, keywords, users have the app make tables on the fly based on the json structure keep a list of downloaded files/created tables so app knows what it got from server and what was created locally 2. html, jquery, css and image files html will show logos, texts etc jquery files could do stuff like: pickup info from local db storage, make and control fields, store info in local db, create new local db tables etc When app has been setup, it shows a login, and checks username/pwd with local user table. If the user logs in, shows startscreen: * header: customer logo, logout, link to synchronise screen * content: html with options * footer: copyright, customer name, app version These html-files are downloaded from the server. The synchronise screen (part of the app, not downloaded): This screen shows buttons so the user can: * download all settings, keyword values, users * download all files (html, jquery etc) * upload saved values It remembers when the user last synchronized and shows that local date/time. Downloading is very much the same when installing the app for the first time. Uploading saved values: of the local tables, some are created by the downloaded html/jquery files. The app should be able to upload this information to the server and remember what records have been successfully received. Clicking the app version info in footer shows the debug screen: * all files downloaded * all tables in local db storage with number of records * click on table to see all records and field values So, files [login to view URL], [login to view URL] and [login to view URL] are amongst those that are downloaded by the app and stored locally. These make up the startscreen and will be shown by the app. The files themselves will include references to images (<img src="..) and jquery files. For example, [login to view URL] may include a piece of code that (for example only!): * talks to the server to get a version number * compares that with a version number from the local db storage * displays a message box on the screen to ask the user to synchronize The app will include the following proof of concept: * The initial [login to view URL] will show the following categories: Check in & out, Hour registration These categories are stored in a settings value, so jquery will be used to create the html for these. * For each of these categories, values in local table are checked; if records exist, these are shown. * Clicking the category header loads a form to allow the user to create new information * Clicking the record loads a form to allow the user to edit the information For a description of the forms, see the attached files. Main thing is they both contain sections with repeating groups of fields. I am looking to develop or tweak additional forms myself; the main reason is translation from english to local language. Deliverably is therefore not just the app, but includes support for setting the details for a development environment. Phase two will be: * Further develop this app: minor changes. * Develop new forms/pages for new customers within this framework (I will not have time to do this myself and rather outsource that). * Futher develop server-side solutions for reporting.
