Andriod Tablet Phone Simulator Application Development

We require an andriod tablet application to be developed that will be used as a means to communicate information about a new handset that is going to be launched. The tablet application will act as a phone simulator, as well as a platform to educate consumers about the applications that are pre-loaded onto the device. The application will include an image of the new handset which will act as the phone simulator. Within the screen area of the handset, Icons of the pre-loaded applications will be displayed. People will be able to press an icon in the image of the handset, view the functioning application and experience how the application works. 6 functional applications will be loaded into the phone simulator: - google maps - facebook - twitter - gmail - angry birds - email When interacting with any of these icons, consumers will be able to use this application the same way they would if they were using the handset. Outside the image of the handset information pertaining to that application will be displayed, educating consumers on the features of that application. Over and above the 6 “live” applications that will be displayed within the phone simulator, 14 additional applications will be showcased. Consumers will access these additional applications by scrolling through to other screens on the phone simulator depicting the application icons. When clicking onto the icons of these applications, they will be shown within the simulator as static images that will represent the look and feel of that application. Educational information pertaining to that application will be displayed adjacent to the image of the handset simulator. Consumers will thus be able to view what the application will look like, and learn about the application, however they will not be able to interact with a live simulation of the app. These tablet applications will be linked to large touch screens. Consumers will be able to interact with the application on a large scale using the touch screen, giving the wider audience the opportunity to view what is being showcased without physically interacting with the application themselves. This project will be awarded on 14 September 2011 Requirements: - We will provide wireframes and outlines of the application requirements. As the chosen developer you will be responsible for all aspects of development. - The application must be developed for android tablets, and will need to include an andriod phone simulator within the application - The application will require log-in facilities as this must not be available to everyone browsing the andriod market. It will only be available to staff members. The log-in facility will need to include the ability for an administrator to create accounts, usernames and passwords - The application is required to be functional in both landscape and portrait views - The timeline for the project is delivery in 15 days from date of final artwork supplied. The application must be available for download on 10 October. This delivery date is non negotiable.
