Convert python script to run parallellized (multi-node using ipython) - open to bidding

We have a simple python script that works for single-node processing of data, meaning that it will run on multiple CPU-cores on a single machine, but not on multiple machines. See the attached [url removed, login to view] (adapted from kaggle).

We want to parallellize this script so we can run it on a cluster of multiple nodes, for example using the ipython techniques described here:
