The task is to write code that calculates some statistics from standard 2x2 matrix:
rows: positive test, negative test.
columns: real positive, real negative
The code can be in Python, C#, C++ or Java
The needed statistics are: Sensitivity, specificity, Prevalence, Liklihood ratio, Positive Predictive Value, Negative Predictive Value, Odds ratio, Relative risk.
For each, also a 95% confidence interval must be calculated.
You must be familiar with those terms and with confidence intervals.
Please submit the formula you will use for 1 + the formula to calculate its confidence interval if you apply for this project. Please write clearly that you are familiar with _all_ these standard values and know how to calculate their confidence intervals.
Thanks for the invite. I'm familiar with all the statistics you mentioned and know the CI calculation for most of them (will look up the details to refresh my memory). Most of these stats have a CI scaling with 1/sqrt(n) and the ratio ones need to be done on the log scale. e.g. for sensitivity and specificity, we have p +- 2*sqrt(p(1-p)/n) as the CI.
I can code this in python, c++ or java.
