I’m looking for a new design for a distributed job/task scheduling & queuing system. It can be something similar like Celery ([login to view URL]) with RabbitMQ or Sidekiq but don’t have to be the same. I'm planning to use this system to handle the task queues generated by a Cloud (AWS EC2) based software application. You can use an existing job queuing system like RabbitMQ and Redis or develop by your own. Your should use a test-friendly programming language such as Ruby or Python for the job. Please show some of your previous work close to this job.

hi, i have 5 years of experience in developing applications in java, and 1 year in redis(nosql) as well as Groovy. I worked on module where i used redis to design the queuing structure of messages for a real-time application. And also used pub-sub functionality to achieve communication between modules to do some decision making constructs. Currently i am working on rabbitmq too for some module. i can do this task based on your requirement. Feel free to contact me on chat for further details. Thanks & Regards

Dear sir, I am a professional software developer based in London, UK. I'm highly educated and have over 10 years of experience developing software as both a freelancer and employee at some of London's best technology companies. Having built a task queue using AWS for a previous client I believe I am especially well qualified to work on this project. That project required a jobs queue capable of accepting jobs from the web and EC2, placing them onto an Amazon Simple Queue (SQS), processing them on EC2 nodes and storing the results in S3. I would propose a similar approach using Python to drive the application and SQS to manage the job queue directly from EC2. My standard of work is very high and uncompromising. If you want your project completed to the best quality with professional communication and punctuality then I'm your developer. We will begin by discussing your requirements in detail over Skype or any other format you're comfortable with. From that I will draw up a plan with a more accurate breakdown of both the development work involved. We will then discuss the plan and make any necessary refinements before beginning the development. I will continuously deliver my progress via Bitbucket (or Github, your preference). Once the project has been finished, I will remain in contact indefinitely should you have any questions, maintenance enquiries or additional feature requirements. I look forward to hearing from you. Kind regards, Ben Holmes.

I have worked directly with establishing this kind of task queue in my full-time information systems engineering role, using Python 3.4 within the past six months. The task was to build a Flask-based web application that could collect and parse JSON data from a high-volume call center and render realtime statistics on the data. The interesting part relevant to your project was the requirement to develop an asynchronous threading feature (using Celery and RabbitMQ as the task runner and messaging service, respectively) to allow the blocking Flask web server to properly collect data in a realtime, reactive manner. While exploring the implementation details for this project I became intimately familiar with the Redis and RabbitMQ libraries for Python and will definitely be able to accomplish what you need. Depending on the performance requirements, we can also look into a Python 3 JIT compiler like PyPy and/or Cython if the need arises. I am comfortable with both technologies.
