Hi there! I have already implemented a distributed peer-to-peer application that plays the rock-paper-scissors game. The application is in pure Java and makes use of the JXSE library. It is also accompanied by a simple GUI that facilitates its use. In general, each time you run the application, you create a new peer. You can run it on the same machine or on a LAN of connected machines. Each peer automatically discovers the others and may select among them an opponent to play the game. Peers communicate by exchanging messages over TCP protocol. I can adapt a bit the application for the purposes of this project and also write the needed documentation report.
