Hi,

We'd someone to research and design (not develop at this stage) a software development project around how an OData ([login to view URL]) API could be made in Python to interface with time-series data stored in a InfluxDB ([login to view URL]). The overall aim of the software would be to enable hooking our existing InfluxDB instances up to tools like PowerBI and Tableau that can consume an OData REST API automatically (without us needing to create a custom interface into InfluxDB)

In terms of deliverables, this would include recommended python libraries for developing the API (flask?), the recommended python libraries for interfacing with InfluxDB and a project plan (include time estimates) outlining what tasks & effort & testing would be required to develop an API that will be able to query an InfluxDB using the OData standards.

We can provide example data for influxdb if required
