Design a Brochure

Design Summary: Full Financial Services require a modern design for their Property Information Memorandum. The look and feel needs to stand out and make a statement that Full Financial Services are set apart from other competitors. Due date for completion: 15th October 2015 Budget: $210 incl. GST (on approval of any of the initial designs) Key objectives: To design and create a modern sheik design of the company Property I.M’s. Scope: Designer is to initially provide 3 very different design layouts. Upon approval of one design, the designer will create the templates for the remaining pages of the I.M. Purpose and function: The Information Memorandum is produced for every new property/unit being sold. FFS sales representative provides this I.M to the potential buyer of the property/unit. It delivers complete information of the property/unit and its surrounding areas to provide a well-educated overview. Format: The document will need to be exported into a high resolution PDF and it will be printed in-house and presented as a binded booklet. We also require the native files in InDesign and Illustrator to ensure that FFS can frequently and simply reproduce the document as new properties come on the market. Design Project plan: 1st Draft of 3 x designs 10am 12th October 2015 Implementation of remaining pages COB 14th October 2015 Design changes & review COB 16th October 2015 Final Files 24 hours from approved design list the Design Brief: The final design should be clean and easy on the eyes. It needs to be creative and provide a welcoming feel. The use of company colours is a must however the designer can be creative in how the colours will be used. Attached are 3 examples of existing designs, see below comments and feedback of what is liked and required to provide the designer with an overview of expectations. [login to view URL]: This is the current IM that is being produced. This PDF is only to be reviewed as an example of the content and copy that will be in the IM. The design should be completely renewed and refreshed as we are not happy with this design. [login to view URL]: The way we expect to receive the final design is in this template format (the pages set up blank and where images can be easily inserted). The things we like about this is the use of colour, the cleanliness and clear formatting. What we do not like is that it seems very standard in terms of design and not very creative in making FFS look more modern or set apart from our competitors. [login to view URL]: This is another example of a layout we like. We like the modern feel of this design and the user of the dark tones. We like the use of image and text to a page and way the footer of pages are clean and consistent with the slightly off text placement look. We do not want the designer to copy this, but to give an outlook on different ideas.
