I am in need of a complex auction style website designing similar to eBay. The website will need the ability for users to create an account. There will need to be 2 types of accounts, one for sellers (people who create auctions) and for buyers (people who bid on the auctions). The site is for a niche that will require the ability to hold around 5000 - 10000 auctions at any one time, with registered users of between 50000 - 250000. The website will need to have age verification upon registering as the niche is designed for people 18 +. I need the website to automatically request a payment of 10% of the auction total to be paid to myself, with the rest of the amount paid to the seller in person. In the same way that eBay charges fees for auctions on their site. Once the payment of 10% has been made i then need the website to send the seller the contact details of the buyer. An internal messaging system that is only opened between the winner of an auction and the seller would be preferable. I need the buyers not to be able to contact the seller of an auction until they win an auction. The buyer can then contact the seller to arrange the sale. I will also need some kind of admin panel to be able to moderate users and auctions (with the usual admin functions). I will be able to provide full details of every process and the website niche to the developer. I will also need an agreement in place so that my concept is not stolen and the website developed is not replicated. I am in need of a skilled developer who can work closely with myself through every step of the design process.
