Build aWebsite from an existing project

Summary: Revamp the website of [login to view URL] This website serves as a fan site for the television shows The Bachelor and the Bachelorette. Our website functions as a fun way that users sign up and make their predictions as to which people will make it from round to round. The purpose of this project is to provide users with a site that keeps them engaged with the TV shows, by creating their own Brackets that are relative to each episode of the show. In the future, we would like to apply this format to other reality competition TV shows. Problems: Current site is sloppily coded and difficult to scale. It is not using a simplistic design or mobile friendly features which makes the site frustrating to use for people. Purpose of this project: 1. Build a site that simplifies the current [login to view URL] with a nicer interface and better functioning webapp (mockups provided) 2. You will need to migrate the user database of names and emails into the new platform. a. The site currently uses Ruby on Rails with a Linode server. I would prefer a cleaner CMS such as wordpress with angularjs or something similar. 3. Build a new site based on the mockups for a nice and clean GUI that is simple and mobile friendly. 4. Build a system that will also offer free leagues and paid leagues, both public and private. a. Paypal will be used for the paid league. -Full mockups and specifications will be provided to qualifying bidders.
