In Brief: A website which will be home to a growing library of ‘insights’ from global research culture. The library of ‘insights’ will be searchable, so anybody looking for insights into China, for example, can search for ‘China’ and find all the insights tagged China. Insights will be drawn from a range of sources: books, newspapers, magazines etc. Each insight will contain some basic elements: i) a title (chosen by the person posting) ii) a ~25 word summary of the key insight (chosen by the person posting) iii) a ~500 word quotation from the source of the insight e.g. a book, with the author credited etc iv) an image of their choosing iv) tags and similar quick allocation data. The insight database will be searchable by anybody. However to post your own insight (as above) you will need to create a very simple profile / account. I will take care of the copy of the site. This can be delivered before or after the site design and functionality is completed.
