Different artist's rendition of an existing painting

I would like a rendition of the attached painting. I would like it to be different enough that I don't get sued for copyright infringement but similar enough that an art snob could say, wow that is in the style of [insert artist's name]. Format should be 28 by 40 inch (w x l) TIF file (final product), CYMK.. If you've seen Exit Through the Gift Shop, your role is to be Mr. Brainwash, riffing off of other artists and adding your own touch.
