creation of a logo for company

In need of a logo which will best descript my service. My company deals with training athletes in becoming better basketball player and better person. It focuses on the physical aspect of the game but also on building the character (confidence, motivation, self determination, goal setting, leadership. With my services, the client will evolve from his current position to a better and fullfiled position. I need the logo to look modern but also professional because parents will be visiting the site and need to be reassured that their money is well spent. The company will also deal with doing workshop on motivation. I am a professional basketball player so i would like that the colors of a basketball appear in the logo.
