Hi,
The aforementioned problem seems to have a straighforward algorithm using C programming or in MATLAB . You can rest assured you would receive it within 24 hours of accepting the proposal since programming is what i do everyday.
For starters, I can have an indefinite loop of betting rounds with conditions on the amount available with the player and whether the current bet amount plus 19% reaches the maximum cap for betting (i.e $20). The betting algorithm can also be straightforward. An array can be maintained for roundwise kitty status of every player to keep a tab on expenditure.
I do have a few queries for more clarity that I would like to discuss:
1. Do you need this as an interactive program where number of players are based on user input?
2. The bets start at $10 and a player loses his first bet - can you kindly expand on that?
For eg: you mentioned player 1 plays against 2 and player 1 wins. What amounts did you have in mind for the bets of the two players? Both cannot start at $10 because then neither would win.
3. 'Price splits from $20 to $10' - can you expand on this please?
4. Also, to verify, if player 1 wins, he takes home both his bet and the opponent's bet, right?
Thanking you in anticipation,
Avanika.
