We want to create a Hardware Embedded setup for a kicker table. Requirements: 1. To measure speed of the ball when it scores a goal. 2. To glow some Strong Led's based on the side that scores the goal. 3. Display the Results on the screen with some graphics. and some more things what you could incorporate in the project more. We want to have something similar that you see on the Bowling Screen. Please submit a proposal with the hardware requirment, Platfomr that will be used, the sensors that we will be using and also what more can we do in this project. The Hardware can be brought by us and also tested by us. You have to make the coding and also provide the design in the proposal which we need to discuss with our managers and present it. Also the time frame to complete the project would be necessary. Please only people with genuine experience send their proposal.

Hi Sir, We have read your project. we are very professional engineers and developers who do such jobs from last many years. As a team under the flag of TURKTRONICS we are best in designing IOT applications. We guess that if you are going for readymade hardware than Raspberry pi or Arduino Due should be great. We have worked on many screens but unfortunately we dont know the size of your screen that you want to work with. Normally we do nice display graphics on NEXTION kind of LCD/TFT screens. Please discuss with us. Let me give you brief introduction: We are team of developers and engineers professional in designing electronic circuit solutions, pcb designs, database programming such as MySQL etc, software designs and GUI/UI development, android applications, integrating software and hardware and providing complete solutions. In this bid, we offer you our solution at very low and affordable rates based on your desired requirements. we normally follow several checks to ensure the quality of service and products. In this bid prototyping is not included, if at certain point you would like to have prototypes manufactured, we can provide you at minimal cost including courier charges (DHL/FedX etc). We, very humbly deal with our clients and provide technical support to them during all phases of project execution. We are very much looking forward to hear from you in coming days. Cheers, Ahmad Lead Technical Engineer Turktronics Inc. An Internet of Things CompanY

Hello, As I understand you need to automate the score of the players of the kicker table and also measure the speed at which a goal is scored. Please find my proposal below. As you mentioned the display of the score need to be similar to bowling and also in future you would like to customize the display with better graphics, Raspberry-pi or Intel Edison would be a better choice. Both of this boards can handle complex graphics. On the sensor for measuring speed of the ball while entering the goal, a laser and LDR (light dependent resistor)/photo diode can be used. A leaser LED incident on the sensor traversing across the breadth of the table in front of the goal can be placed. As the ball has a fixed diameter, the time duration for which the laser beam is broken can provide us the speed of the ball. On the LED indication, based on the wattage of the LEDs chosen we might need an external LED driver or can be directly driven by raspberry pi. I am and embedded system designer with experience on building custom solution in hardware and embedded software. Please visit my profile to know more about my expertise. Please initiate a discussion to discuss more about the project. Regards Niraj

Hey I am an expert embedded software engineer. I have made many projects designing many electrical circuits and programming many types of micro controllers. The hardware required is: 1- Two Arduino boards or any other micro controllers of your choice. 2- Two force sensors to calculate the speed using force. 3- Matrix LED or Colorful LCD to show some graphics. 4- Two or Four LED strips. 5- We can add some Sound Effects. Please contact me for more details.

Hello, This is a relatively simple project to implement. Here is my idea: - for each goal gate you have 2 line lasers with detectors one after the other. When a player marks a goal, the ball will break the first beam and then the second beam. The distance between the lasers divided by the time between the beam breaking is the speed of your ball. And it will be very accurate. - For the lights I would use some addressable rgb leds like the neopixel. Ebay is full of them. They are bright and can have any color. - For the display I was thinking something in the style of the old pinball machines. Some dot matrix displays with some BIG 7 segment displays for the score. Some cool colors and decals and you have yourself a cool project. All this can be easily done with an arduino Mega and some cheap parts from ebay. Now... about myself: I am a certified EE engineer with more than 8 years of experience designing building and testing electronic devices. I work as a r&d engineer in a lab, and in my spare time I freelance. Depending on what you want, the bid is negotiable. If you have any questions please contact me. Thank you.

Hello! I can carry out your project. I have all the necessary equipment (microcontrollers and modules) in my studio. I've had experience in writing firmware for such devices. But In fact, I need a more detailed description of the project. I find it difficult to offer a set of equipment, since its selection depends on many conditions. P.S. You can see the overview of completed projects in my profile. https://www.freelancer.com/u/Gippopotam.html

Hi, I want to use Arduino. BTW. are you thinking about ARM microcontroler? Eg. STM32F746G-Disco Discovery STM32F746NG. It has a touch screen. You can use it to make the game different data: the names of players, playing time or the number of points that you need to win in order to win. This will ensure that the project will be more interactive Graphics library used in the Cortex family offers great flexibility. It is now used eg. In the latest user interfaces household appliances. To measure the speed I plan to use the Doppler effect. If you are interested I can prepare for ToDo list and work schedule.

To measure speed of a ball and fact of scoring, we offer to place one ultrasonic sensor in each goal. We offer to use a monitor or TV with HDMI input for game status demonstrating. Additionally, a web camera (limited list) may be used to add a function of instant replay and determining of own goals. We suggest to use Raspberry Pi 2 (or Pi 3). This decision is based on the following: 1. To output game status on a big screen via HDMI using Arduino, we will need an expensive additional HDMI module, 2. Intel Edison satisfies requirements of our solution, however it has lower performance in comparison with Raspberry Pi 2 (Pi 3), while the price is quite the same. We tried different solutions using a web camera (with manual set focus, aperture, time-exposure) and additional lighting. As the speed of the ball was quite high, 30 fps was not enough to determine its speed, that's why it is necessary to use ultrasonic sensors (for speed measuring and score tracking). However, the camera with some improvements of our software may be used for instant replays. Note: not to waste time for international mailing, we will purchase the equipment needed at local shops and then keep it. We will send you source code, wiring diagram and all other data which is needed to build the same device. Additional items (not included in the price of the project): 1. Adding a web camera for instant replay (one camera above the table), 2. If 1 yes, improvement of software to make it able to track own goal.
