Arduino code. PWM duty cycles. NPN transistors, external power source.

I need someone with a good understanding of electronics to provide me with a solution, rough background:

external power source provides a power to filament lamps and an arduino board. the voltage of the power source is constant, use two digital pwm output pins on the arduino board to control the intensity of the brightness of both lamps using NPN transistors.

Forgot to mention some info:-

-Circuit diagram required (microprocessor may be represented as a block)

-both lamps are have 2.5 ohm resistance

-current supply up to 3amps, Voltage supply is 5volts, each with 2 ohm resistance, this info may be useful incase you need a resistor
