A simple, somewhat normalized Access database has been constructed to track progress being made through a rudimentary training process and am looking to get two functional forms created to input and edit the data.
The attached pdf’s are the databases table relationship report and basic layout / structure of the two forms.
Form 1 - Record Display / Entry / Update
Used to add new records to and update existing records within the db. The Training Record is an updateable subfform in table format that displays the training information related to the record.
The purpose of the edit and update buttons on the diagram was an afterthought that in order to actually update the record, the edit button would be selected, and the update button to save the changes to the record.
Form 2 - Status Display
Based on the Department field and is divided into three subforms where the LastName field is linked to open the selected record in Form 1 --
Pending Registration will display the records where the InitialNotification field is not null and the ClassName field is null.
Incompletes will display the records where the ClassName field includes otc, the ClassCompletion field is null and a can display multiple ClassName fields on a single line for each record ( LastName ).
Pending Scheduling will display the records where the ClassName and ClassDate fields are not null.
Let me know if there are any questions or if something needs clarifying before placing a bid.
