convert MS Word to formatted HTML

I have about 100 books in MS word format. I need to convert them to a standard html format. Most of the books are already well formatted (e.g. paragraph breaks...). Some of the books have line breaks on every line. The project winner needs to convert each book into clean html file (no added ms word markups) with utf-8 encoding. The books have no pictures or other special objects embedded. The books are generally between 50 to 250 pages in length. Some books have footnotes/endnotes, which should be preserved, as well as headings, titles, etc. Should be a simple job if you can script the process / use macros. The job needs to be professionally done. If you have experience in the epub format, and css, to further convert the files to this format, that would be an advantage. The task is urgent, so you need to have enough resources to complete in time. The whole task must be completed by May 9.
