I a placing a bid for 25 articles at $.50 per article or $12.50. The system would not accept a bid lower than $30. I will do one week's worth of articles at the rate of $.50 per article and would like to re-negotiate once I have proven my work. Below is a short sample of an article that I wrote.
The Internet and Freelance Work
Since its inception the Internet has transformed our world; the way we do business, the way we communicate, and even how we find part-time work to supplement our income. In the past, potential employees had to network in person; scour help wanted ads or take demeaning jobs to help make ends meet.
The Internet and computers have revolutionized this process. Today those looking for additional opportunities need not go any farther than their own home to find work. Using freelancing websites to help them locate work, apply for jobs and even complete the work that has been assigned.
There are many websites on the Internet that can help a freelance worker locate employers that are interested in their unique set of skills. These websites not only minimize the amount of time spent it takes the worker to find potential employment, but they help match they employee with a job in there area of expertise or interest. This makes part-time work in the age of the Internet much less mundane and a more interesting option than it was in the past.
