AWS or PAGODABOX Cloud configuration

Hello, I'm linux system engineer with more than 8 years of production experience . I can install and configure server for magento in AWS or PAGODA , optimize and secure in best manner for different budjet. From past experience for high performance magento is better to keep on dedicated server because its heavy application with high amount I/O, cloud is better for high availability. Time to setup and configure everything around 3-5 hours with performance tests. In case you want to use on AWS combination from RDS , S3 and EC2 with Load Balancer and auto scaling ,whats is optional for large shops, it will take up to 10-12 hours and will cost ~150-200 $ . Hi Lemme point out the main difference between AWS and PAGODA BOX. Pagoda box is a platform-as-a-service (like Heroku) unlike AWS that's a infrastructure-as-a-service means you'll have full control of things that you use and if you're thinking of scaling the website then I'd suggest to move over to AWS, which has its own advantages mentioned below 1. Flexible choice of OS, bandwidth, Hard Disk, scaling and many more. 2. Fast and reliable support staff as that compared to Pagoda-box which is only a startup. I'm the Lead Administrator in my current Job, and all our infrastructure is hosted on AWS. I know my way around a Linux system, since I've been personally using Linux since my High school days. Basic setup will only take a day or so, additional day depending on your other requirements. I will setup your DB to use a local MySQL (or Percona Server) install first, but ready for migration to RDS if the need arises.
