Searching for a consultant with significant experience with programming experience in C++/Linux to modify an existing program. Existing program data from 3 data sources (via FIX API) , written in C++ and run on a Linux Server using a g++ compiler. Need to code a simple strategy based on Order flow from one of the data sources. Once signal recognized make appropriate trade with PNL parameters. Must be flexible enough to work through several variations to find one that works profitably. Developer must have ample time available IMMEDIATELY to complete this task in the next week. Would like to see demo results in the next few days and live testing shortly thereafter. If you have not done a project similar to this, do not apply please. Developer must have worked on Order flow types of models for Spot Forex and low latency environments. This is the first in a series of development projects. This is Phase I and has price and time sensitivity. ALL work must be completed on remote Linux Server. The modifications include the following: i) Code strategy based on Matlab backtest ii) Add trade execution pieces to program iii) Run in demo first and then iterations on actual trades iv) Add latency tracking metrics to analyze the speed of the application and the latency between providers

I am familiar with c++ in linux environment, but have not worked with matlab with c++, so I am half-confident in technical ability. My experience in developing automated trading strategies was in Java on Orc platform, and it was in option trading. Working in this project may require some learning in your particular trading platform. Which platform do you use? Which market is it? I can allocate my entire working hours for this project if both of us agree that I might be suitable for the work. I might need more details concerning the code and environment to raise my hand with full confidence, but I am willing to take the challenge.
