I have also worked with BLE on both host's (software) and the device's (firmware) side. I have a fair Qt experience as well. I can create a simple Qt class which provides an API that does the scanning of the devices/services. Apart from service discovery, do you need to be able to read/write data? If so, what kind of service your bluetooth device should support for data interaction?

Hi, What you need is very similar to functionality which I implemented for one of my last projects (adding BT devices to list (inquiry with RSSI, MAC and dev name). Qt is quite good choice but on Windows only dummy implementation is provided (no real BT device support) to use it with QT on Windows it is necessary to compile WIP branch which support Bluetooth on windows.
