Currently working in telecom R&D company. Work includes testing of telecom equipments using automated tools. I have knowledge of various L1, L2 and L3 protocols in telecom. Visualising and analysing of traffic can be done by wireshark. Network map can be visualised by looking at the OSPF table (or other similar protocols) of device. Devices problems can be analysed by looking at various parameters of the running protocols. Link status could be checked using MEP (with the help of CCM packets), node reachability with the help of ping, other parameters by scrapping information about running daemons and protocols in the node. Other problems could be seen from the device logs.
