I have 2 Delphi 7 services, an HTTP service and an SMTP service that uses Indy 10. The services receive specific HTTP and SMTP requests from custom clients and sends the data to a TCP server. Code is very stable, stress tested, and has been in use by my customers for more than a year. The 2 services need to be made compatible with Lazarus. I must also be able to compile the final code using both Delphi 7 and Lazarus, so the code must use: {$IFDEF Lazarus}{$ELSE}{$ENDIF} On Lazarus, the code must generate executables for both Windows and Ubuntu/Debian Linux. The services come with full source and I believe they do not use any units or code that cannot work on FPC or Linux - this needs to be verified after you checked the source. Indy 10 is suppose to work on FPC/Linux, but some tweaking might be required. I've attached some code for reference. More code can be provided on request. You can bid after checking the codes. Please provide more info on your Delphi and FPC/Lazarus experience where relevant. Budget can be increased if you have experience in FPC/daemons - so we can skip the trial and error and testing. Note: I've previously done a cross platform Lazarus daemon (uses Indy 10) that can be provided for reference. The project is stable.
