Audio, Video and ActiveX controller test (similar to skype video/audio installer)

We need an installer written (windows .exe) that check if the video and audio (audio means both speakers and microphone) are working (same as how skype or msn installer works). Also need the same installer to check if our activeX controller is installed, and if it is not then to install the activeX controller. We want status during the installer that states what the installer is testing and if there is any user interaction required. Video should show the webcam image working, Sound should play a sound and ask the user if they heard the sound, microphone test should show a sound meter when the user speaks into microphone.
