Hello. I've already found books, as well as websites and videos giving detailed instructions in making doma floor, and how its used in recent Japan. Its quite timely as I just saw a Japanese tv show that does renovations like the diy network here in the states, that covered making tataki doma using sand, limestone, and bittern. Seems like hard work as it took a couple of college kids hitting the floor all day. I love diy work so I can totally help you with what ever information you're looking for.
