I would like to know about innovative activities carried out by charitable organisations, social enterprises and private sector companies in Australia. I would like someone who currently lives there (and has done for at least 1 year) and is well informed about up-and-coming local organisations, businesses and latest trends, to do some research. The reason I’m looking for help is to find ideas that would be hard to uncover remotely via the internet.
I'd like to find out about innovative new products, services and business models in the area of…
Repeat custom - what are organisations doing to build up a long-term supporter/customer/consumer base, who ‘buy’ or ‘give’ on a regular basis?
You might look at…
· memberships (e.g. charities, associations, cinemas, fitness centres)
· subscriptions (e.g. magazines, regular deliveries)
· clubs (e.g. wine clubs, activity groups)
· ways of giving (e.g. direct-debit, micro-payments)
· consumables/ongoing needs (e.g. toiletries, grocery shopping)
· supplementary products (accessorising, freemium, hardware/software etc.)
· supplementary services (after-sales care, insurance, maintenance etc.)
· service contracts (e.g. utilities, mobile phones etc.)
· updates/upgrades and new product/service launches
· savings and investments (e.g. Christmas clubs, stock trackers)
· rewards/loyalty cards (e.g. store cards, multi-buy)
· incentives (e.g. gifts, recognition, matched funding)
I am looking for innovative new approaches, activities, ideas and business models. I'm NOT looking for:
- communications and messaging examples
- multiple examples of the same underlying idea
- examples that aren’t anything new, interesting or different
example 1 - I don’t want to know of a wine club that has the standard offer of sending people different bottles of wines at regular intervals…but I do want to hear of a wine club that has tied a ‘learning’ element into their offer, where you can attend a set number of wine tasting sessions and the bi-yearly visit to a vineyard
example 2 – I don’t want to know of a regular Christmas savings club… but I do want to know of a Christmas savings club that allows you to send the ‘change’ you get back from an online purchase (the pennies that would round the purchase up to a pound) to a Christmas savings account
example 3 – I don’t want to know of a charity that has a regular giving ask where you can select to pay $1, $10 or $100 a month by direct-debit…but I do want to know of a regular giving ask which is tied to a stock index tracker, whereby the proportion of gains for any given month are sent to the charity
I’d like at least 10 ideas, with 5 coming from the commercial sector and 5 from charities social enterprises. The ideas should be recorded in a spreadsheet and for each idea I’d like to know (see attachment):
The organization/company
What the idea/activity is
How it works
Relevant web link
How it’s interesting/different
You might already have a good knowledge of the market and be able to complete this task very quickly or it may take a bit of further investigation and thinking and talking to contacts, but I would expect it to take a day at the absolute most.
Hello. We are new here. We are a legal consulting specialist. Our web site sets out what we can do, and how we work. There is one page now, and developing to 6. It says we find lawyers, but we also work ourselves. When we have more space, we will explain all that.
As we are a new start, we guarantee success and satisfaction. In fact, you would be our first client.
Hope we get to work with you.
I understand what you want and can give it to you.
I am hoping to discuss your needs. We are very new to this site as LHB. If you would like to see who I am, I am nevj5 on here, and my full profile is there. As we built this identity, there are some very good value opportunities. I will work harder and cheaper to build LHB. And, you get the benefit. Hope to talk with you soon.
Neville.
