Android app development

We are a well-funded startup developing consumer-facing artificial intelligence products. We have offices in China and US, and this position is located in San Francisco, CA. We’re looking for 2-3 Android Engineers to help us build applications for our consumer-facing products running on Android platform. You’ll be working closely with a small, collaborative team, and build beautiful apps for our US customers. What You Need for this Position • B.S. or M.S in Computer science or 4+ years in software development experience • 2+ years of Android application development experience (Android SDK, Java) • Experience shipping 2+ Android apps from start to finish • Holistic knowledge and passion for the Android platform • Fluency in Mandarin • Willing to work with colleagues from different time zones What you’ll do: • Build apps for our products running on Android platform • Integrate 3rd party APIs • Build and implement new features • Identify and resolve Android application issues • Work closely with product and design to continually improve the user experience Nice to have experience • Knowledge with Artificial intelligence, speech recognition, natural language processing, and text-to-speech. • A focus on UI design principles and make apps work intuitively Note: • Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
