I have experience developing PDF brochure apps for enterprise distribution. I have recently completed a similar project (protected by NDA). The project provided both online and offline support for viewing PDFs. Also, I have experience interfacing with both Facebook and Twitter APIs. My Proposal: I will build an iOS app that will run on both iPhone & iPad. I will Build an Android app that will run on tablets that you will identify. PDFs will be stored on a remote server. Both iOS and Android versions of the app will access the PDFs on the same remote server. The app will provide the ability to either view the PDF online or download the PDF locally. Viewing online will require an internet connection which can be verified via Reachability APIs. If the PDF has been downloaded locally, it is available to view offline. Additional UI design / navigation can be discussed in the coming days. Options For the Future: The ability to easily update the content stored on the remote server may increase the scope of the project. We will need to implement a CMS with web interface so that admins may log in and update / replace / add new PDFs. The iOS and Android apps will display the content stored in the CMS. In the future the app could be expanded to display other media types: HTML, PNG, MP4, MP3, etc
