Hello, Creative Courseware is a professional training development organization based in Kansas City. We develop classroom curriculum, eLearning modules, technical documentation, and so on for many companies in the Kansas City area and quite a few beyond KC as well. We're looking for exceptional talent to join our team as contractors. We want *experts* with extensive experience in the areas of instructional design and eLearning development who can produce the highest quality instructional materials. Right now we're trying to find people to add to our resource list in general, but we do have a potential 1-2 month project starting in October doing development with Captivate 8 (it's preliminary, but I expect it will be close to full time work during those one to two months). If you're interested, you should be adept at creating interactive, performance-based learning modules. Another potential project is further out, but involves animated video development along the lines of this video: [login to view URL] A few other new projects are in the works and our team is getting busy! We also do a lot of classroom curriculum development and need instructional designers capable of creating engaging curriculum and interactive activities with detailed facilitator guides. If you can help with some of these skills (eLearning being the most pressing need), please get back with us on your hourly rate ASAP because we need to start making some resource decisions very soon. We may want to have a phone conversation with you soon, but for now can you: - Send us your resume - Rate your Captivate 8 skill level (scale of 1-10) - It would be good to know your Articulate Storyline, Lectora, and other tool skill levels as well (for other future projects) - Tell us if you have your own copies of these applications - Tell us your availability for a project to start in October and run for 1-2 months (if not in October, when would you be able to start?) - Are you able to work on-site in Kansas City? Some projects may need this at least occasionally. - Do you have any video-related skills? Are you able to do simple editing (i.e. cropping and republishing a video) and inclusion in eLearning courses? More than that? Animation and video development? Currently I develop projects in Adobe Captivate 8. I have been working in this field for many years. I have a background in education and began my professional career as a school teacher in London. A few years ago I completed a masters in E- Education. I am able to create very advanced content with beautiful interactions. I can also inter splice these with custom animations built in flash. I have worked in a number of sectors including k12, local government, retail, food and hygiene and health and construction. -My Captivate 8 skills are 8/10 (Every so often I learn something new) -I have used Articulate but I'm nowhere near as strong. -I have my own Captivate Licence - I am available in October at present - I can edit videos for the purpose of eLearning. I can build animations and some content in Flash (I have an older licence -CS5)
