Mark is a highly qualified specialist who has been counselling clients that have severe illnesses and the families of such clients for about seven years. He has attended numerous seminars and workshops on terminal disease, grief and health issues counselling. He collaborates and gives workshops for different health associations; sometimes cancer associations and hospitals refer their patients to him. He even thinks of getting the supervisor license to supervise the practice of other counsellors. One morning he received a new client’s profile with the details of a diagnosis. While reading the female client’s particulars he realized that this was his classmate in High School whom he knew more or less well. The case was challenging (because of the type of disease) and the patient has been forwarded to Mark by a hospital’s counsellor. Mark was thinking that he could be the best professional to work with this case. Considering the facts that they haven’t communicated for more than 16 years after graduation from the High School, and they were not in friendship or romantic relations, plus having almost no one in mind in the city who could work with the case, Mark decided to work with the client.
