This project is about creating a simple portal with the following functionality.
User management:
One admin user that is able to create users and passwords. The admin user should be able to see a list of users and be able to change, add, delete users
Users should be able to login.
The user will visit the portal by scanning a QR code. These QR codes are generated by us, using another desktop app. We can influence the content of the QR code if that makes the job in ASP.net easier. The QRcode will look something like [login to view URL]
The ASP.net app should look in a table in a SQL server database if the S5lIX87R part of the link does exist in the table and if it does exist it should check if the Valid Until date is in future or not. There are 4 possibilities, each showing an own screen:
1) Code is found and ValidUntilDate is today or in future, screen should be green and showing a picture, some text and a close button
2) Code is found and ValidUntilDate is in the past, screen should be orange and showing a picture, some text and a close button
3) Code is not found, screen should be red and showing a picture, some text and a close button
4) Code is found, but has been visited before, screen should be red and showing a picture, some text and a close button
As these screens will be visited using phones, the screens should be quite small.
Pressing the close button should update the record with the code to mark it visited and close the browser window. For option 3, no record found, it can not be marked visited of course, so only close the browser window.
After this, the app is ready for the next QR code check.
Every night the app should import a CSV file that has been put on a FTP location by the desktop app. The CSV file will contain new QR codes.
When the project is awarded, a proposal for the table structure is available, also a sample CSV file and a rough layout of the screens.
Hello,

Thanks,
Abel.
I'm experienced in C#/ASP.NET and have already developed a workflow engine on the .Net Framework. I can Assure you that the result will be tested, elegant and very satisfactory
