Project: Locate and establish new channels of distribution with online bicycle retailers. Instructions: Identify possible online bicycle retailers. Contact them. Request their procedures for sourcing and purchasing products. Educate the retailer on our products and offer them for resale. Provide them with necessary information such as catalog and price list. Maintain contact. Assist them with setting up a purchase or dropship account. Follow-up continuously until the lead is converted or exhausted. Work closely with our sales manager. Maintain up-to-date contact database and progress report. Important: The focus of this project is establishing a person-to-person contact with the retailers, and the majority of time should be dedicated to that purpose. Building and replenishing contact lists should be treated as a support task.
